Light of Dawn Foundation

Light of Dawn means ‘morning light’. Every morning, light breaks the darkness of the night that has passed. Every day, we have another chance to do what is good. Our foundation is operating in Lebanon.

Our story

Welcome

The situation in Lebanon is dire. The country has been in a major economic recession since 2019. Besides that, a major explosion occurred in the port of Beirut in the summer of 2020, killing more than 200 people. The war that broke out in the Middle East October 2023, is also causing tensions in Lebanon.

Many Lebanese, as well as Syrians and Palestinians, live below the poverty line. As a result, it has become a struggle for many to afford basic necessities.

The Light of Dawn Foundation is committed to the most vulnerable people in Lebanon.

Every year, a number of projects are selected that the Light of Dawn Foundation supports financially in a very targeted manner and without major overhead costs. For example, think of renovating an orphanage and providing food, medicine or clothing.

I, Mirjam, live and work in Lebanon. I believe that by doing good, hope can break through in hopeless places.

My hope is that you will join my mission possible!
